Long Branch South has a few farms with horses and cows, not a large number of animals, but the drainage from these properties may run to the street near the corner of 1st and CR 13.  The stormwater conveyance will direct this flow to the southern long branch flow. 
Also, Wellon Av and most of the area in the neighborhood to the east of CR 13 and next to the speedway has stormwater flow to the south which will then run into the south end of the long branch tributary.
I have no idea how to get any info on the number of pets in the area.

Note, the junk yard in the race track is for cars.  There does not appear to be any other waste dumped in this area.  We are still schedualing for an inspection of this site during and after a race to record if waste is properly disposed of.  

Also, the square retention pond to the south of the junk yard on the race track site has just been purchased by the county along with the canal that runs from SR 50 along the east side of the racetrack property.  We hope at some point to turn this into a regional pond.
