We received the attached ADaPT EDD zip file for the Month DD, YYYY sampling event at Facility_Name (STCM Facility ID: #######).  We noticed you report the results for multiple samples with the same Date/Time of sampling. 


When submitting ADaPT EDD’s for the Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP), please make sure all DateCollected (ADaPT Lab EDD) and Date_Sampled (ADaPT Field EDD) Date/Times are recorded to the minute and reflect the Date/Time entries on both the Field Sampling Logs and Chain-of-Custody forms.  If this is an SPLP issue, please report the actual sample date/time (not the time which leaching began) and leave a lab comment in ADaPT next to the associated holding time error.


This is important since the PRP does not currently use Monitoring_Testsite_IDs which help identify and distinguish unique samples.  When multiple samples have duplicate Date/Times, it is possible that these samples are treated as composite samples, and when ADaPT exports the data, unique analytes are exported for this common Date/Time regardless of the ClientSampleID/Monitoring_Testsite_Name.  All analytes export when the DateCollected/Date_Sampled times are unique for each sample.  To ensure a complete upload of data to our databases, we now query for multiple samples with the same Date/Time, and compare the number of records that should export to the number of records that actually export.  We do reject files that appear to have multiple samples with the same Date/Times of sampling, with the exception of equipment blanks.  Please give each sample a unique date/time and resubmit to  clark.b.moore@floridadep.gov and to PRP.ADaPT@dep.state.fl.us.
