Installation Instructions

Note: Currently, use of the C: drive is hard-coded into this program.  If it is installed on a drive with a different name, it will not work.



1.	Close any open programs.
	Note: You may have to reboot during the installation.

2.	Click on the Setup application in the InstallCGIS folder and follow the instructions.

3.	If it is not already available, create a folder C:\GISData and a folder inside this folder C:\GISData\GISFile.

4.	Copy the two files listed below (MSAccess files) from the C:\Program Files\GISDataXfer directory to the
	C:\GISData directory.

		GIS_UPDATE.mdb
		GIS_WORK.mdb 		

5.	Delete the InstallCGIS from C:.

6.	To review GIS Data files created in the new format, perform the following steps:

		Copy the five files into the C:\GISData\GISFile directory.
		Select Start, then Programs, then FDEP GIS Review, then GISData.
		Enter the 7-digit facility ID for the copied site files.
		Select Import Tables.
		Select Data Checks.


	Checks highlighted in bold and underlined are required.
	Checks underlined, but not bold,  identify likely problems.
	Checks that are not underlined and not bold, identify possible problems.

Note: This program has been checked on Windows98.  The GIS Review program should work on 
Windows 95, 98, 2000 and NT.
