Part VII is asking for water use information to make sure all required permits are being requested for the project, and to determine if the stormwater system will be used for any additional purpose such as landscape irrigation or recreation so the correct water treatment criteria can be applied.
All required documents must be submitted on 8.5" x 11" (letter size) paper.
A. Will the surface water system be used for water supply, including landscape irrigation, or recreation.
If the surface water system will be used for water supply, such as using a detention or retention pond for irrigation or recreation, describe how the system will be used.
B. If a Consumptive Use or Water Use permit has been issued for the project, state the permit number.
Consumptive use or water use permits are issued by the water management districts for use or removal of large quantities of ground or surface water (such as by dewatering or irrigation), or use of certain large-size pipes and pump capacities. Go to your Water Management District website for thresholds and more information.
C. If no Consumptive Use or Water Use permit has been issued for the project, indicate if such a permit will be required and when the application for a permit will be submitted.

D. Indicate how any existing wells located within the project site will be utilized or abandoned.
If there are any existing wells on the project site, indicate their size, purpose or former purpose and how they will be used in the new project, or if they will be abandoned.
If a well is to be abandoned, describe how it will be abandoned.
You must submit an application to construct, repair, abandon or modify a well to your Water Management District office.
