This data set contains the municipalities of Alachua County.enFor base map purposes.The municipalities data layer is a composite of parcels from the Alachua County Property Appraiser's designated as being inside of a municipality. Some additional editing has been done to include utility parcels inside of municipalities and the closure of large gaps from road and utility right of ways. Because the Parcel coverage is constantly being maintained, the cities shapefile may not fit the latest parcel boundaries.
