IMPUTED WELL & IMPUTED SEPTIC TANK DISCLAIMER

No database currently exists for the location of private wells or septic
tanks.  The point locations shown on this map were determined using
various assumptions and existing GRU customer data as follows:

The location points were deduced from GRU accounts that had electric
service but not water and/or wastewater.  These points were given
a cursory screening for obvious errors, but have not been field verified
or screened further.  There are undoubtedly many false positives
included in the data, as well as many omissions.  The points were
then overlaid with our existing utility network to determine if they could
be served by an adjacent main, or conversely, if they would require a
main extension.  They were then segregated by this criteria.  Note that
elevation was not taken into account in determining potential
serveability.
